This is another case for the brilliant detective Sherlock Holmes. This time two government officials come to him. These are Prime Minister Lord Bellinger and the Secretary of State for European Affairs Trelawney Hope. This is a secret matter. Somebody stole an important letter from Mr Hope's mailbox in his house. The letter contains secret information. If other countries learn this information, the consequences will affect all Europe. Even a war can happen. The letter disappeared from the mailbox when the secretary's wife was not at home. Only Trelawney Hope knew about this letter. Sherlock Holmes starts his work. Several famous spies are under his suspicion. Soon Holmes learns that one of his suspects, Eduardo Lucas, has been killed...
